- Clients work with their Communities to gather rules for permits; how often permits can be obtained, how many days per permit, and per period, period length for measuring (a month, half-year, year), whether back-to-back permits are allowed
- Self-service
- Most permit needs are self-serviceable by the permit holder (typically a visitor). Some adjustment tools such as changing permits to extend beyond limits, are available to Clients
Violation Enforcement
- Parking rules
- Communities typically establish parking rules for their residents. Residents and visitors are required to abide by them. Park Ranger Clients operate on either an on-call basis, or patrol. Violations result in a vehicle being immobilized rather than towed. The Park Ranger software allows clients to track immobilizations (booting), to arrange payment for removal, and notifications of events associated with this process.
- Regulations
- Clients are required by law to abide by according to State, County, and Municipality immobilization code. Such code often constrains prices charged and time limits.
Community Management
- Parking rules
- Communities can establish precise rules for permits, as well as indicate parking violations. Permits are free. Violation reasons are listed both during the permit registration process, and during payment. Client enforcement tools also explicitly list violations, limits, and time frames booting is permitted.
